Classic game, revolutionary execution. A solitaire app that does something new? Never thought we'd live to see the day. We're talking about the genre's first leap forward since Windows Solitaire. On second thought, does Windows Solitaire even count as a leap? Let's rephrase that: the genre's first leap forward since...ever.
Solitaire Zen uses the gyroscope to simulate a virtual reality environment. You peer around by tilting your iPhone or iPad. Whatever direction your device is facing, that's where you'll be looking. Ah, the magic of technology. You can also disable the gyroscope if you'd rather play it the old fashioned way.
With the game's XP based leveling system, you might forget you're playing a card game, not an RPG. Occasionally we get into the zone and forget we're playing a video game at all. Check out the video below, and find more info at the official Solitaire Zen site.
