We wanted Highway Rider to be Road Rash so badly. SO badly. Road Rash was an N64 cult classic with high speeds and gratuitous violence, two essential pieces of any great racer.
Highway Rider didn't fulfill all of our hopes and dreams. But it's still an entertaining, mischievous app. Anyone who's played the Skate games will find the self destructive goals familiar. You can ruin yourself with some seriously massive crashes...and get rewarded for it. The ragdoll physics aren't revolutionary, but they're good enough to convey a sense of bodily destruction. What more can you ask for?
